Canfield Connector’s rugged 7GL magnetic proximity sensor, which features a “floating” clamp design that adapts to NFPA linear actuators with 2 to 8 inch bore tie rod cylinders, is made to sense an actuator position in stringent, general location applications. The normally open 7GL has a robust, vibration and shock resistant aircraft aluminum body, a fully epoxy encapsulated electronic circuit, and a cam-lock clamp that ensures proper assembly and sensor position. It operates in a temperature range from -20° to +80°C, has a voltage range of 0 – 120VAC/VDC 50/60 Hz, and can switch current up to .5 Amps. This versatile sensor has environmental protection rating NEMA 1, 4, and 13 and is wash-down compatible.
