Pentair Technical Products announces the Hoffman brand SYSPEND® Sanitary HMI System for enclosing, protecting and suspending lightweight HMI devices up to a maximum load of 90 lbs. The newest addition to Hoffman's comprehensive SYSPEND family of HMI products, the system consists of a SYSPEND Sanitary HMI Enclosure and SYSPEND Sanitary Suspension System—specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of sanitary environments. The modular system includes multiple tube lengths and straight, L and U-shaped tubes to meet versatile application requirements. Integrated side handles on the enclosure facilitate simple repositioning, allowing the system to be easily adjusted to meet the ergonomic needs of multiple users. The SYSPEND Sanitary HMI System meets NEMA Type 4X and IP69K requirements for high pressure, high temperature washdown applications. A flat-screen monitor-style enclosure and smooth design with no exterior bolts or set screws delivers modern aesthetics while minimizing bacterial catch points. The system features 304 stainless steel construction, providing excellent corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. A unique reversible 20-degree sloped top and bottom on the enclosure facilitate water and cleaning solution runoff, and prohibit object placement on top of the enclosure. A slanted flange trough collar prevents fluids from pooling along the top edge of the enclosure opening, and an easily replaceable, one-piece closed-cell silicone gasket is fully concealed for complete washdown protection. SYSPEND-LOK™ fittings attach without set screws to minimize bacteria catch points, providing a secure design with leveling capability. The enclosure also features a flat area for installation of an optional Hoffman H2OMIT® Vent Drain for condensation removal. "The SYPSEND Sanitary HMI System is designed to provide extra cleanliness and reduce the risk of contamination in sanitary environments," said Nathan Espinosa, Pentair Technical Products' product manager. "By decreasing the amount of cleaning that is required, the system allows for increased plant productivity." Espinosa adds, "Engineered features—such as the 20-degree sloped top and bottom, closed-cell silicone gasketing, and slanted flange trough collar—make the SYSPEND Sanitary HMI System especially suitable for a wide range of process control applications where an enclosure needs to be positioned out of the way for cleaning, storage or safety considerations." Applications: Hoffman brand SYSPEND Sanitary HMI System can be used to support and/or reposition an enclosure or HMI device up to 90 lbs. in sanitary process control environments, including: Food & Beverage Pharmaceutical Packaging Features of the SYSPEND Sanitary HMI System that make it particularly effective and convenient to use, include: • Sanitary HMI Enclosure and Sanitary Suspension System for lightweight HMI suspension up to 90 lbs. • Rated for Type 4X and IP69K protection in high pressure, high temperature washdown applications • Modular design, with multiple tube lengths and straight, L and U-shaped tubes, allows for application versatility • Integrated side handles allow easy enclosure repositioning • Minimal bacteria catch points; no exterior bolts, set screws or obtrusive hardware when bracket covers are used • 20-degree sloped top and bottom facilitates water and cleaning solution runoff • Slanted flange trough collar prohibits fluid pooling by the enclosure opening • One-piece closed-cell silicone gasketing is fully concealed for superior washdown protection • 304 stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning SYSPEND-LOK™ fittings attach without set screws to minimize bacteria catch points, providing a secure design with leveling capability • Full range of enclosure modifications are available • Enclosure can be flipped for either pendant or pedestal mounting
