The shr811CCX12 Camera Offers 245MP High-Resolution Detail for Surface Inspection
An ultra-high resolution camera that merges the power of a Sony 245.8-MP CMOS area sensor with the lightning-fast CoaXPress-12 (CXP-12) quad interface, the shr811CCX12 acquires precise, detail-rich 19200 x 12800 pixel color images at data transfer speeds of 12.4 fps to improve quality, reliability, and yield.
The shr811CCX12 heightens accuracy and propels throughput in applications, especially those requiring a large field of view or analysis of intricate patterns. It brings new performance to surface inspection of semiconductor wafers, PCBs, solar panels, and high pixel density FPDs, while also having the ability for medical imaging, astronomy surveys, city mapping, aerial & ground surveillance, and intelligent transportation systems.
The camera uses the CXP-12 interface to simplify application design and setup with the CoaXPress standard. It features four CXP-12 micro-BNC connections, each with a maximum data transfer rate of 12.5 Gbps and 24V DC Power over CoaXPress (PoCXP). When these four links are aggregated, the camera achieves rates of 50 Gbps.
The shr811CCX12 is the latest model in SVS-Vistek's SHR camera platform, sharing the SHR's high dynamic range and boosting light sensitivity with minimal noise. With more pixels capturing light, the camera can distinguish subtle differences in color or texture that low-resolution cameras miss, improving performance in challenging lighting conditions. Like other SHR cameras, the shr811CCX12 also comes with a comprehensive I/O with signal voltage, RS232, and galvanically isolated input, along with a sequencer, binning, and an integrated multichannel LED strobe controller.
The shr811CCX12 is engineered to withstand harsh industrial environments, which would otherwise adversely affect image quality. It's housed in an IP30 thermally-optimized metal enclosure that features a large M72 mount that can be easily adapted to any lens, and provides an operational temperature range of 14 to 140°F (-10 to 60°C).
