Trafag's 8719 Gas Density Monitor enhances safety and efficiency with its easily readable needle placement, five separate monitoring circuits, and temperature immunity.

The 8719 Gas Density Monitor, designed to enhance gas-insulated switchgear monitoring in the utilities, renewable energy, and manufacturing industries, offers a large 3-in (75 mm) dial to provide easier needle readability for estimating exact levels. 

Featuring up to 5 galvanically separated circuits, it allows for independent monitoring of multiple density levels and enhanced alarm capabilities.

The monitor offers exact switching output and has temperature immunity, ensuring reliable alarm triggering regardless of the conditions. The device is fully temperature-compensated and maintains accuracy across a wide range from -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C). 

With flexible installation options of IP65/IP67 protection, it can be used both indoors and outdoors. Optional rain covers and thermal protection coverings are also offered.

The absolute pressure reference gas measuring system allows for direct monitoring of insulating gas density, eliminating thermal expansion effects on measurement with 1:1 compensation over the full temperature range. The 8719 Gas Density Monitor is compliant with SF6 and alternative gases. Its customizable dial scales and units allow for adaptation to specific customer requirements.
