Transferring the warmth needed to protect industrial piping systems from freezing, the DSX self-regulating electric heat trace provides a safe, reliable, easy-to-install, and energy-efficient solution in an optimized form factor.
The trace heaters self-regulate to prevent overheating, even when overlapped, and are marked for use in ordinary and hazardous locations.
Available in 9 and 18 W/m nominal outputs (@ 230V AC), it can be energized at 208 to 277V AC.
Construction options include polyolefin or fluoropolymer overjacket and braid or foil and drain wire electrically conductive covering.
Features:
- Self-regulating core prevents overheating, even when overlapped
- Certified for ordinary and hazardous locations
- Uses proven and proprietary compounding, extrusion, and cross-linking technology to extend service life
- Cut-to-length, small profile design works for complex small piping layouts
- Auto adjusts heat output based on the temperature, delivering optimal heating for cold and warm spots alike.
