Thermafit Air-Source Modular Multipipe Unit for Cooling and Heating

The Thermafit Air-Source Modular Multipipe Unit is a 30-ton (433 MBH) unit that is expandable up to 300 tons (4330 MBH bank). It's an all-electric, all-in-one solution capable of 3 modes of operation: cooling, heating, or simultaneous heating and cooling.

The system is lab-verified to provide reliable heating in outdoor ambient temperatures down to 0°F (-17°C) and hot water temperatures up to 140°F (60°C). It has a vapor injection scroll compressor for cold climate operation that extends the operating range of the compressor for water temperatures of ~130°F (54.4°C) to 0°F (-17.8°C) outdoor ambient temperatures.

Model MAS is 8.2x more energy efficient than other forms of electric heating, with better unloading and 5 to 17% turndown for more part load efficiency. The Thermafit MAS model can satisfy the entire building's heating and cooling needs by independently operating the mode of each module in the bank, even if the loads are unbalanced. Its chilled water and hot water loops have variable flows, improving overall system efficiency.

Designed with genuine redundancy the model MAS has a modular design, eliminates a single point of failure, and helps support continuous operation. Engineers can integrate Model MAS easily into new or existing systems.
