Delivery Velocity Widget Added To Order Delivery Tracker

May 6, 2021
TRUX's delivery widget, part of its Order Delivery Tracker, displays delivery velocity by the hour to keep track of material deliveries throughout the day.

TRUX is launching the first of what will be multiple "widgets" or visualizations aimed at providing material producers with more insights into delivery progress, status, job site efficiency, and material supply. This first widget displays delivery velocity by hour throughout the day along with the number of tons delivered per hour, the number of scheduled tons per hour, and the average tons per hour delivered.

By adding this widget into its Order Delivery Tracker, TRUX is providing customers with tools to provide better customer service to their end-users. The widget allows their customers to see if they are on track or on schedule with regard to deliveries throughout the day. If they are behind schedule, is it during a particular part of the day when things are busier on the job site? And being ahead of schedule isn't necessarily a good thing, especially for material that has a lifespan or equipment is rated for a particular velocity. You don't want material sitting around and not being used in those cases.

With the launch of Order Delivery Tracker, users can gain an in-depth look into the material on the way to the jobsite.

This widget aims to provide order-level insights to help with monitoring and improving overall order delivery velocity, job site operations and efficiency, and material inventory. The current order delivery tracker only provides insight at the individual load level. With the new widget, insights will be at the order level (roll-up of all individual loads on a given job).
