The crosshead's maximum thru core is 18 in. while its maximum die ID is 23 in. Built to handle thermoplastic applications, the crosshead includes tooling and isolation sleeve design.
Additionally, the tooling section features quadrant heating. Guill's crosshead stand has an integrated alignment station and concentric role guide. The stand is also an integral cleaning station, so clients don't need to remove the crosshead for cleaning. Lastly, this crosshead has "on-the fly" catenary adjustment and can be easily maintained with simple hand tools.
