RICHMOND, VA - The Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp., a world leader in warehouse logistics technology, is announcing a line of highly-efficient mast moving reach trucks -- the ETV Series 1. The line consists of four trucks: Models ETV 110, 112, 114 and 116. Overall, these trucks will provide you with the best solution for the cost effective stacking and retrieval of merchandise - even at high lift heights and in confined spaces. Whether handling pallets in a drive-in racking environment, operating in narrow aisles or low rack areas, or working in single- or multi-shift applications, these trucks will get right to work for you.
Because they have a particularly compact chassis - only 44 inches wide -- Models ETV 110 and 112 are able to work in aisles as narrow as 105 inches and have load capacity ratings of 2,000 and 2,400 lbs. respectively. Models ETV 114 and 116 have an outer chassis width of 50 inches and have load capacities of 2,800 and 3,200 lbs. respectively.
All Series 1 trucks include a Curve Control feature that limits travel speed and acceleration during cornering to substantially reduce the danger of tip-over. To promote maximum safety, the trucks offer a mast design that delivers superb load visibility and extremely smooth functioning, with no “jerking.” The ETV 114/116 lifts heights to 303 inches, but the standard 240 inch mast has a collapsed mast height of only 103 inches.
At the heart of ETV Series 1 trucks is Jungheinrich’s proprietary 3-phase AC motor technology that powers travel, lift and steering motors. Three-phase AC offers significant advantages over direct current shunt-wound motors. For example, it enables stronger acceleration and eliminates hesitation when shifting into reverse. And with no carbon brushes to wear, an AC motor is essentially maintenance-free, keeping the vehicle working longer. The Series 1 trucks efficiently reclaim their kinetic energy during braking and store it in their batteries; as a result, much less time is wasted on recharging. These trucks will get the job done for you, efficiently moving your merchandise, shift after shift.
Ergonomics have been a priority here. A stress-free driver is a safer driver, and safety pays off in greater productivity and lowered costs. The Series 1 trucks offer a spacious cab with ample legroom and a seat fully adjustable to suit every driver.
The steering wheel is also fully adjustable, both horizontally and vertically, and 180° steering mode is standard, with mode 360° optional. Jungheinrich’s SOLO-PILOT feature conveniently groups all essential controls in one location -- including controls for load lifting and lowering, travel direction and horn -- with no need for the operator to reach backwards. The operator’s display shows all information at a glance, including travel direction, wheel position, steering mode, battery status, operating hours and time. Three adjustable travel programs, selectable on the display, will match the operator to the operation.
