Swage Standoffs Keep Circuit Board Assemblies Tight and Secure During Use
Swage standoffs are manufactured with face knurls to keep the standoffs from twisting and loosening after assembly. The hardware is the basic standard for printed circuit board mounting and electronic and mechanical assemblies.
A new and wider variety of swage standoff designs are now available, including hex and round profiles in American Standard and metric dimensions with diameters from 1/8 to 5/8 in. and lengths from 3/32 to 10 in. Materials include aluminum, brass, steel, and stainless steel in dozens of metal finishes.
RAF also supplies the tooling for the installation of swage standoff hardware. The complete RAF electronic hardware line includes non-swage standoffs, male-female standoffs, spacers, captive panel screws, precision shoulder screws, jack screws, thumbs screws, handles, and plastic circuit board supports.
