PaceSetter™ PS 125™ Tabletop Bagging Systems

Nov. 12, 2008
Automated Packaging Systems, the world leader in high-reliability packaging systems, has introduced the Autobag® PaceSetter™ PS 125 and PS 125 OneStep™ Tabletop Bagging Systems. The all-electric PS 125 baggers eliminate the need for a pneumatic connection. Just plug it in, and it's ready to use. These baggers offer best-in-class performance for low- to medium-volume hand load operations and are capable of bagging at speeds up to 25 bags per minute. The PS 125 tabletop systems can operate in three cycling modes: manual Push-to-Seal™, foot switch, and fully automatic. Loaded bags are automatically heat sealed and a new, pre-opened bag is indexed with each cycle. Applications include packaging for a wide range of hardware, electronics, crafts, and medical parts or kit components. The PS 125 OneStep is ideal for small to medium fulfillment operations that require frequent changeovers between products. The PS 125 and PS 125 OneStep baggers are truly portable, with a footprint of 22 in. by 19 in. and weighing just 82 and 110 pounds, respectively. A convenient, turntable design allows the bagger to spin within its footprint for easy bag loading. These baggers use genuine Autobag pre-opened bags-on-a-roll in sizes from 2 to 10.5 inches wide and 4 to 17 inches long. The PS 125 OneStep is rated for 200 dpi printing and the print head tilts back for easy maintenance. The PaceSetter PS 125 tabletop baggers are essentially ready for use right out of the box with easy-to-follow instructions. Job changeovers are fast and easy with a front panel control screen that stores settings for up to 10 jobs. On-board diagnostics simplify troubleshooting. "The new PS 125 and PS 125 OneStep systems incorporate advanced electronic designs to achieve their versatility and compact size," says Chris Rempe, Senior Product Manager. "These highly functional units can be easily set up in any location to package products with a wide range of bag sizes and printing options. For low volume mail order fulfillment applications, there is no better solution," Rempe added.
