2022 NED Innovation Award Finalist
The Infinity automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) represents the next generation in goods-to-person (G2P) technology for warehouse automation. This innovative solution combines unparalleled storage density, configurability, and flexibility, with the full capabilities of the company’s proprietary Cortex software platform, to power business now and in the future.
The system’s wireless Infinity iBOT robotic vehicles can access all inventory and port stations, moving freely underneath and throughout the system without any wasted mechanical motion, saving time and costs. Each iBOT can carry up to 70 lb. Unlike other competitive systems, the Infinity solution offers up to 35% more storage capacity with bot paths that are up to 65% more efficient.
Automated G2P technology delivers the right item or SKU at the right time to the right operator or workstation, increasing productivity, throughput, and labor utilization. The system uses a unique interlocking system to store totes triple-deep, and the configurable rack design optimizes warehouse space despite any obstructions that may exist, such as columns or other equipment. The Infinity system is easily scalable by adding more iBOTs, presentation ports, and grids. This solution is ideal for multiple applications, including omnichannel distribution, store replenishment, micro-fulfillment, and e-commerce.
