Kalamazoo Machine Tool has introduced the variable speed Model C315/350V manual cold saw designed to meet the need for an economical, powerful, single-phase saw offering infinite control over blade speed. The saw uses a solid hinge-type design that makes it ideal for prototype work, or for limited production work under carefully considered applications. A double vise assembly, with a 6-1/4" maximum opening, provides holding power on both sides of the cut for burr-free operation. The vise is mounted on a slide assembly to allow optimum positioning of the workpiece relative to the blade. The Model C315/350V saw features a 14-inch HSS blade, a three phase TEFC motor, variable blade speeds from 24 to 105 RPM, totally enclosed transmission, 24-volt controls and built-in flood coolant. The machine is capable of cutting round shapes up to 4" in diameter at 90°, and 3-3/4" in diameter at 45°; square and rectangular shapes up to 3-3/4" x 5" at 90°, and 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" at 45°. The saw comes with full guards that are removable for easy cleaning.
