Lascar Electronics has released two new smart graphics  displays configurable using the company’s award winning software platform,  PanelPilot. The new SGD 28-M (2.8” screen) and  SGD 35-M (3.5” screen) displays join the existing  SGD 24-M (2.4” screen)  to bring the number of compatible displays available from Lascar  Electronics to three. Programming  of all displays in the range is straight-forward using Lascar’s PanelPilot  software.  After downloading PanelPilot, users can connect any of the  displays to the computer via the USB port.  PanelPilot uses a simple  Windows interface to walk users through the configuration of the display  starting with the selection of a meter style from over 40 standard digital  and analog options including conventional 3½ digit voltmeter applications  to analog style gauges, trend graphs and touchscreen options.        Once  selected, PanelPilot allows the user to select custom colors, text labels,  splash screens and input voltage scaling using the software, before saving  the configuration and uploading to the display through the USB  cable.   All three available displays are equipped with touch  screen functionality, dual analog inputs, an operating voltage of 4-30V  and a voltage measurement range of 0-40V. Downloadable from www.panelpilot.com , the latest  version of the software automatically checks for new configurations launched on panelpilot.com  and adds these to the selectable list  on the computer at the click of a button.
