BEX ADDS MINI TANK-MIXING EDUCTOR TO LINEUP OF SPRAY NOZZLES

Feb. 20, 2014

BEX Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of industrial spray nozzles has introduced a new lineup of mini tank-mixing eductors to its lineup. The mini eductors, with orifice diameters ranging from 0.59 to 1.18 inch diameter, use a unique venturi design which enables smaller pumps to circulate large volumes of tank solution. The eductors will yield four to five times inlet flow, i.e. circulate four to five gallons of solution for each gallon pumped, and are used for mixing chemicals, suspending solids, adjusting pH sweeping, debris or sludge toward a filter intake, as well as many other useful applications. Typical applications include use in tanks used for plating, cleaning, phosphating, sludge, paint and anodizing to name a few.

The mini eductors are color coded based on orifice size to provide for easy identification. They are constructed of polypropylene and PVDF and used in much the same way as larger eductors, but on a much smaller scale. The venturi design allows smaller pumps to take advantage of the surrounding liquid to create a high velocity yield.

The nozzle flow ranges from 0.31 gallons per minute (GPM) with a circulation rate of 1.9 GPM at 10 psi to 2.9 GPM flow rate with 10.7 circulation rate at 50 psi.

BEX has over 40 years experience in providing unique and patented technologies to improve spray application quality and reduce maintenance to industry.
