Athlonix 24DCT miniature dc motors employ a proprietary self-supporting coil that maximizes magnetic flux and ampere-turns for a given diameter, unlike others self-supporting coils that have power and endurance limitations. Torque carrying capabilities reach up to 14.96 mNm, and the higher torque per ampere leads to better battery life.
Applications include medical and industrial pumps, drug delivery systems, robotic systems (bionic fingers), and miniature industrial power tools. Motors are available in 2 variations: precious metal commutation and graphite commutation with a Neo magnet inside. An REE (Restriction of Electro Erosion) coil is an available option, which prolongs the life of the motor.
