GC Series of Gear Couplings & Sleeves for Misaligned Shafts

The GC series of gears and corresponding sleeves are designed to permit the connection of two shafts with minor misalignments.

When designing a motion application, there is a need to connect to a motor shaft. Use of a KHK stock gear coupling will allow for the torque of one shaft to be connected to another shaft and compensate for minor misalignment. KHK Gear couplings are produced in 3 sizes with 17 bore sizes to select from.

All of the KHK gear coupling components are made from 1045 carbon steel and feature induction-hardened teeth for added durability. The gears are included in the KHK J series program where stock bores can be opened along with the addition of keyways and sets screws, with production requiring only 3 business days.
