TKA 1500 Edge Milling Deburring Tool

The TruTool TKA 1500 edge milling tool creates sheet metal edges with repeatable accuracy and without any rework. Available with a cutting mount and guide fence for more applications and safety, it offers low vibration and smooth operation.

The tool’s handle shape, size,  and positioning ensure safe machine guidance and support the chamfer quality. The large electric hand tool has a 2,600-W motor and adapted gearbox making it quiet to run and letting operators generate a high-quality chamfer reliably.

The TKA 1500 comes with a standard 45-deg. multi-edge cutter mount with an optional multi-edge or radius multi-edge cutter mount in 30, 37.5 or 60-deg. angle positions. The edge milling tool is suitable for deburring, rounding or chamfering end edges and can also be used to prepare parts for powder and paint coatings, as well as welded seams. Operators can use the tool to create clean visible edges, break off sharp edges, add a radius or prepare a weld seam.

Another feature is the guide fence, which is made of stainless steel and is beneficial when processing long, straight sheet metal and outer contours. The guide fence makes it easier to run into the sheet metal and control the processing direction and also provides protection against chips, directing them downward.

• The stop prism ensures easy run-in to the sheet metal for straight sheet metal and when processing outer contours.
