Supplied Air Shields, Welding Helmets

ALLEGRO INDUSTRIES reported workers would experience more comfort, less fatigue, and improved productivity thanks to new design features incorporated into the Allegro line of Supplied Air Shields and Welding Helmets.

The Allegro Deluxe Supplied Air Shield and Welding Helmet (Blue) has been proven effective, and cost effective, in use by forging plants, foundries, aluminum plants, mines, chemical plants, refineries, auto manufacturers, metal workers, and fabricators. The welding shield flips up to allow the user to grind and clean metal while looking through a clear, ANSI face shield. It is designed with a variable shade and auto-darkening lens (shade 9-13). It provides an all-in-one respiratory, eye, face and head protection against airborne particulate contaminates including hexavalent chromium, flying debris, sparks, cutting and chemical or metal splashes. NIOSH approved.

For convenience, the Deluxe Supplied Air Shield and Welding Helmet (Blue) System is an all-in-one system for one worker or two co-workers. It’s a cost-effective alternative that includes one or two shields/welding helmets, a ¾-hp or 1 ½-hp ambient air pump and 50 feet of breathing hose. It is NIOSH-approved and ANSI-certified.

The low-profile, lightweight Deluxe Supplied Air Shield and Welding Helmet (Black) provides protection from airborne contaminates, sparks, debris, or chemical and molten metal splashes. The welding helmet offers a large, 4x5-in. lens with ADF lens shades in 9-13 and a large #10 lens included. The quick-release suspension allows easy cleaning. This unit is ANSI-certified and NIOSH-approved.

The Allegro Economy Supplied Air Shield and Welding Helmetis a durable, lightweight unit molded from thermoplastic resin – meaning it is lighter than fiberglass — thereby allows for less fatigue and greater productivity. Clean, breathable filtered air is directed to the interior of the face shield at a constant flow rate. Filter replacement is easy using standard size filters and standard covers and impact plates. It meets ANSI Z87.1 standards for impact resistance.

The Economy Supplied Air Shield and Welding Helmet System is suitable for most welding jobs, and is designed for use by one worker or two co-workers. It is supplied with an ambient air pump, ¾ hp or 1.5 hp, one or two helmets, and 50-ft of breathing airline hose.
