Plexus Systems has been named a Future 50 of Greater Detroit Company, the Detroit Regional Chamber's annual recognition of successful small businesses in Southeast Michigan. Winners are chosen based on their impact on the regional economy through growth in employment, investments, community enhancement, revenues and acquisitions.
Plexus Systems also was named a Future 50 company in 2004.
"We are honored and proud to again be recognized as a Future 50 company," said Jane Warner, president. "We have grown steadily by delivering outstanding service and value to our customers. The manufacturing information system we provide has helped our customers substantially reduce costs and improve productivity."
Plexus Systems' online software is a full-featured manufacturing information system that can run a company's entire business -- from EDI and sales/CRM to purchasing, production, quality, shipping, accounting and more. The company's software is web-hosted, which allows companies to take advantage of Plexus' world-class data center and avoid buying and maintaining costly computer equipment.
Plexus Systems ( www.plex.com ) provides online business solutions for manufacturing and other industries. Key customers include Metaldyne, Eagle Picher, American Axle, and GKN. Plexus also serves several other companies in the forging, stamping, machining, tooling, fastener, steel and wire, engineering services, and medical innovation industries.
The Plexus Online software consists of over 300 modules allowing companies to access all critical information in real time using a simple web browser. Plexus Online includes shop floor control, traceability, quality management, EDI, accounting and many other capabilities that can be configured as a fully- integrated system or as a point solution to augment other ERP software.
"Our key success is listening to our customers so we can design and deploy software that lowers their cost, increases their quality and provides detailed traceability," said Warner. "We have never lost a customer."
