Inductoheat, Inc., Madison Heights, MI, has promoted Raymond Cook to Vice President of Product Development. His responsibilities include coordinating the development of new standard products for Inductoheat in response to market input with respect to meeting customer needs.
Cook is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan, with a B.S. degree from Western Michigan University and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University, Michigan. He has been involved in the design and development of high-, medium- and low-frequency solid-state inverters, machine and system design, load matching, process control and monitoring for a wide variety of induction heating applications, including hardening, annealing, tempering and lost-core melt-out technology. Cook has 34 years of experience in induction heating and has written 24 research and engineering articles. He is a member of ASM.
