Ajax TOCCO International Ltd. has consolidated operations in new, purpose-built premises in Saltley, Birmingham, with the old premises in Birmingham and Oxted being closed down. The new headquarters involved an investment of ≤2 million (nearly $3.7 million).
Peter Smith, managing director of Ajax TOCCO International Ltd., in looking forward to exciting times for the new company, says “Although UK based, this is very much an international operation, established to provide the technological base to support our international expansion plans. As we roll out new customer-focused service centres throughout Europe and Asia, we’ll be able to provide local service to our customers anywhere in the world.”
The company also plans to open a brand-new service center in Le Roeulx, Belgium.
CEO and president of Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic Corp. Ron Cozean says, “I’m extremely excited about this new venture and the commitment that goes with it. I definitely see our future sales growth coming from the international markets, and this new UK investment is the foundation for that growth.”
