    AMY is a compact and maneuverable autonomous mobile robot (AMR) that transports loads of up to 55 lb (25 kg). This small vehicle offers full flexibility with autonomy and can be easily integrated into larger fleets. Its load handling enables a cost-effective and low-maintenance intralogistics solution, especially for handling small parts.

    AMY can transport loads in the form of standardized small load carriers or several smaller containers from or to manual workstations and exchange them with conveyor systems or transfer stations.

    Visitors will also be able to interact with DS Automation's fleet management system, NAVIOS.

    The modular onboard electronics developed in-house and smart control software provide fast operation using the plug-and-play method, both individually and in a swarm. This means that AMY can take over transport operations immediately.

    Thanks to its differential drive, AMY can turn on the stand and drive at speeds of up to 6 ft/s (2 m/s) in both directions using laser scanners at the front and rear with 360-degree visibility. The AMR navigates exclusively contour-based. Two time-of-flight (ToF) cameras prevent collisions with overhead objects such as table tops.

    Plannable autonomy lets the AMR drive completely autonomously or follow virtual lane guidance and, if desired by the operator, avoid unexpected obstacles. In addition, AMY has a VDA 5050 interface and can process files with the layout interchange format (LIF). This means that AMY can be operated under any fleet management system and under DS Automation's NAVIOS fleet manager.

    Thanks to the three different load handling devices (LHD), which can be implemented depending on the complexity needed, AMY is a versatile AMR for numerous applications. For all three variants, a suitable web interface is available for operating the mobile robots.

    1. LHD does not require sensors or drives, making it simple and cost-effective. It works together with the appropriate transfer station, which also doesn't require sensors or drives. This makes it ideal for applications where the material is provided independently of the vehicle.
    2. The second LHD variant can also handle gravity roller conveyors and belt conveyors, allowing for easy connection to conveyor technology. There are also passive transfer stations for this system.
    3. The third option is a platform for manual loading and unloading. For this purpose, the vehicle is called to stations where the user manually places the load and then sends AMY on to the next destination.
