Alleima TD Nickel-Chromium Alloy for Extreme Temperatures

Feb. 3, 2025
Alleima TD nickel-chromium alloy, designed for the heat treatment industry, ensures consistent performance and measurements at extreme temperatures.

Alleima TD is a new, high-temperature material solution for the heat treatment industry. The product ensures consistent performance for mineral insulated cable (MIC), measurements, and heating cables, even at extreme temperatures up to 2,282°F (1,250°C).

The nickel-chromium alloy tube features 22% chromium and 3% molybdenum to offer reliable corrosion resistance at high temperatures and reduce the risk of oxidation, creep, and cracking.

Industries with a focus on the production of automobiles, aluminum, gas turbines, and aerospace engines are known for their harsh environments that put high demand on surrounding materials in production. Alleima TD ensures consistent performance in elevated temperatures minimizing corrosion and contamination of the cable insulation.

Alleima TD is perfect for industries where precision, reliability, and safety are paramount, including thermocouple sheathing, pyrometers, and heat tracing cables, where temperature control is important.

Features:

  • Seamless sheath eliminates weak points or cracks
  • High oxidation resistance due to high chromium content
  • Chromium and nickel mitigate damage from contaminants
  • Reduced creep and maintained structural integrity
  • Alloy combination resists degradation
  • Advance alloy design to reduce thermal drift
