Electrified Power Equipment (EPEQ) Mobile Support Kit for Vehicles and Fleets

Oct. 24, 2024
Vanair's EPEQ Mobile Support Kit is an end-to-end electric solution offering high-capacity air power and emergency EV charging for vehicles.

The Electrified Power Equipment (EPEQ) Mobile Support Kit is an all-in-one mobile power solution for vehicles and fleets.

The battery-powered, fully self-contained, “bolt & go” system is the first end-to-end electric solution to offer high-capacity air power, versatile inverter options, and EV emergency charging, all powered by Vanair's proprietary ELiMENT Battery packs.

It has 20 cfm of air power, up to 10 kW of pure sine wave inverter capacity, and a built-in Level 2 EV charger, all managed by a smart display system. Fleets can easily reduce greenhouse emissions and fuel costs without sacrificing performance and worker safety.

Its compact enclosure measures 60 x 24 x 30 in. (L x W x H), making it suitable for installation in pickup trucks or vans without taking up space. The entire package weighs 550 lb., packing power in a transportable format designed to accommodate loading via forklift or small crane. The kit's plug-and-play design allows for easy installation and operation, with a 120V AC shore power charger that enables convenient recharging from standard outlets.

The ELiMENT batteries feature a solid-state battery management system (BMS), and protection against over-current, short-circuit, over-charge, over-discharge, and temperature extremes. The display is IP67-rated.

Features:

  1. Two 48V, 100Ah lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries with a 5,000-charge cycle life
  2. EPEQ AIR20 compressor with 20 cfm at 150 psi maximum, with dual-speed capability
  3. Includes a 3 kW, 120V AC inverter and two 5 kW, 240V AC inverters, offering pure sine wave energy for various electronic devices
  4. Built-in Level 2 EV charger with 9.6 kW max output and a 25-ft charge cable
  5. 7-in. smart LED display with key metrics like state of charge, voltage levels, and temperature
