PACK EXPO 2024: SE 3.1 Tape Head Ensures Stress-Free Tape Application on Boxes

Oct. 23, 2024
Dekka's latest version of its SE Tape Head provides customized tension, keeps the tape upright at all times, handles a variety of tape thicknesses, and firmly stays in place while in use.

Dekka's SE 3.1 Tape Head is the latest version of its tape head featuring updates to the clutch roller, tape brace, and tape spring plate.

The new clutch roller has a conical spring that lets operators zero in on the right tension for their application.

The new tape brace keeps the tape upright for proper application. It can handle a variety of tape thicknesses, including very thin or stretchable tapes. The brace provides a path for the adhesive side of the tape to remain upright, ensuring accurate application to the passing box.

The new tape spring plate features a sturdier mandrel to help the tape roll stay firmly in place while in use.
