The multi-blade design features uneven spacing of cutting edges, to create round and cylindrical bores. It arrives set to size and requires no additional setup, delivering ready-to-cut functionality. The holders have internal coolant as a standard feature.
Available in standard sizes from 16 to 32 mm (0.63 to 1.26 in.), TSD is ideal for high-volume, high-precision reaming applications in steel and grey cast iron components like yokes, engine blocks, rocker arms, and more.
The solid reamer body is more stable than comparable modular designs with multiple connections which can produce tolerance stack up. The body is a one-time investment, while the disc can be replaced to OEM specs up to 5x for overall cost savings and efficiency.
The straight-fluted TSD ensures the optimal bevel lead geometry can be used for performance and chip control throughout its extensive service life. The left-hand fluted design is also available for through-hole applications.
