Sindoh's first industrial polymer 3D printer based on SLS technology, the S100, is also the first commercially available 3D printer to feature Bluesint PA12 technology to 3D print with up to 100% recycled powder.
Featuring a large build volume of 20 x 20 x 19.6 in. (510 x 510 x 500 mm), it is intended as a prototype machine that guarantees the reproducibility of the builds with consistent printing accuracy. It provides a scanning speed of up to 33 ft/s (15m/s) and is fitted with 2 lasers with each laser covering the full printing field. The lasers have a variable spot size thanks to 3D axes scanning technology which makes it possible to change the spot size on the fly, independently for each laser. The semi-automatic calibration function and remote diagnostic maintenance capabilities ensure high efficiency in operation and maintenance.
The machine gives engineers and operators more control over the printing process by enabling them to tweak the machine and its process parameters. Processing temperatures up to 392°F (200°C) allow for use of a wide variety of popular SLS materials such as Evonik PA12, BASF Ultrasint PA11, TPU, and PP.
Additionally, the S100 can print with up to 100% recycled powder thanks to Bluesint PA12, a process technology developed by Materialise that eliminates powder waste during 3D printing. The S100 also offers cloud-based access to crucial machine data for remote diagnostic support and maintenance.
