Problem: Speed controls for motors are normally supplied with a rotary potentiometer for adjusting speed. This is especially true for DC motor controls.
The issue: Motor speeds are difficult to set with precision, and most definitely these settings are not repeatable from day to day.
Solution: Dart Controls has released its line of DC controls with integral, digital pushbutton speed potentiometer. Speeds can be adjusted in increments as small as 0.1% and digital circuitry ensures repeatability with every use. The 153D-PB Series comes in a standard NEMA 4X / IP67 enclosure. This dual voltage control may be used with 90 and 180VDC motors from fractional to 2HP. Available in both single quadrant and reversing (two quadrant) models, the controls are UL/CSA approved and ready to ship.
