The rotational absolute magnetic encoder high precision position sensor RAME012 features a small 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) outer diameter that delivers reliability and durability in harsh operating environments. It uses advanced contactless technology to achieve > 11-bit accuracy and 14-bit resolution while maintaining robustness against external magnetic fields, airborne pollution, vibration, mechanical shock, and changes in temperature.
Because of the body design and light weight, it is ideal for applications where an angular position needs to be detected with high accuracy and where little space is available. The device is available in a single-turn variant featuring an SSI output signal. It also features a useful electrical angle of 360-deg. and works over a temperature range of -40 to +221°F (-40 to +105°C).
