LogBox BLE wireless data logger from Novus Automation is the first model in the LogBox Connect family of wireless data loggers which offer local or cloud-based data management.
The design of the LogBox BLE makes it easy to connect to most common sensors. It has three universal analog inputs which accept direct connection from thermocouples, Pt100 RTD temperature sensors or other sensors with 4-20mA or voltage outputs. It also provides one digital input which can record events such as opening a door or can count pulses from a device like a flow meter.
A key feature of the LogBox BLE is its wireless Bluetooth 4.1 (Bluetooth Low Energy) interface which allows a user to access recorded data directly from a smartphone using the LogChart BLE application. It also includes a USB interface to allow connection to a PC using the NXperience software. Both applications allow configuration, collection, and analysis of records, as well as the possibility to publish them in the NOVUS cloud portal to create a central repository and dashboard for one or multiple devices.
The LogBox BLE is designed for applications that require accuracy in recording temperature data, such as laboratories, cold rooms, refrigerators, and freezers or data centers. The NXperience mobile application when paired with an Android or iOS smartphone provides the ideal tool for daily monitoring while the NXperience PC application offers a powerful tool for visualization, data analysis, and reporting.
