High-speed ultrasonic sensor Model RPS-400-6 has a compact size of 0.75 x 2.00 x 1.5 in. and fits well in tight locations. Unaffected by changes in target color or material, it's ideal for detecting clear objects.
It has an adjustable 2 to 6 in. sensing range with background suppression (meaning any object within the desired range is detected, while objects out of the desired range are ignored).
The RPS-400-6 is capable of detecting vibrating and/or tilting targets, has a response time of no more than 2.1 ms, and has an operating frequency of 400 kHz.
The 3-wire NPN transistor output device can switch 30V DC at 50 mA continuously. It has a molded PBT plastic case that's filled with epoxy potting material. The transducer face is made of white silicone.
