Dependability, Effectiveness Of First Two Models Drives Expansion Of Product Line Newark, DE: Process equipment manufacturer Precision AirConvey (PAC), Newark, Del. has introduced five dust collectors. Expanding its line to seven, the new dust collectors feature the company's proprietary reverse pulse jet technology, which delivers reliable, 24/7 performance down to two microns at air to cloth ratios of 1.3 - 1.8:1 without bridging or caking. The five cartridge-based models 24, 32, 36, 48 and 64 provide increasing filtration capacity to accommodate a wide variety of particulates and process conditions. Originally developed by PAC engineers to upgrade the dust collection function in their automated trim and waste handling systems, the new dust collectors are ideal for controlling dust from paper, plastic film, wood, rubber, minerals, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, excipients, label matrix and other products. The PAC dust collectors share a modular design on compact footprints that permit the capacity to be quickly expanded or reduced to accommodate changing processing demands without disrupting the processing line. The new dust collectors may be specified with complete processing lines or for retrofit to upgrade underperforming units. For smooth retrofits, the PAC dust collectors are available with a proprietary dust hood that fits a wide range of air separators from multiple manufacturers.
