July 8, 2006
WAUREGAN, Conn. (June 20, 2006) – C&M Corporation now provides a family of rugged, low-loss, RF-shielded, communications coax cables. The new CM-HPC low-loss coax family is constructed of low-cost materials and features an overall tinned copper braided shield. Optional jacket materials such as PVC, LSZH, and polyethylene (UV resistant & abrasion resistant) can be made available. CM-HPC coaxes are an economical choice for both indoor and outdoor uses. CM-HPC 195 features a bare copper center conductor (19 AWG), a gas-injected foam polyolefin insulation, dual shielding, and an 80% nominal velocity of propagation. CM-HPC 400A features a copper clad aluminum conductor (10AWG), a gas-injected foam polyolefin insulation, dual shielding and an 80% nominal velocity of propagation. The CM-HPC family is ideal for antenna feeders and jumper cables for wireless communication. Other uses include WLL, GPS, and mobile antenna applications requiring low-loss RF cable.
