Control Company’s Traceable® Radio controlled Atomic Clock is accurate to 1/10,000 of a second at all times. It receives a radio signal directly from the National Institute of Standards and Technology atomic clock (accurate to one hundred billionth of a second) in Boulder, CO. Ideal for recording the receiving of samples, noting the exact time an event occurred, supporting documentation, providing a standard for a location’s other clocks, maintaining ISO 9000 certification, and for the myriad of occasions when knowing the exact time is immensely valuable. Radio signal automatically adjusts for A.M./P.M., 24-hour time, day/date, daylight savings time, leap year, and leap seconds (earth rotation wobble corrections). Backlighting permits viewing in total darkness. Alarm volume increases until turned off. Temperature range is from 32 to 158°F and 0 to 50°C with a resolution 0.1° and an accuracy of ±1°C. LCD digits, 1/2 inch-high, are readable from over 10 feet. Battery operation eliminates electrical outage concerns and runs continuously for one year. To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from our ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Size is 2 1/2 x 3 x 1 1/2 inches. Weight is 4 ounces.
