Moticont Introduces the SDLM-051-095-01-01 Linear DC Actuator that features a continuous force of 33.9 N (7.6 lb.).

The SDLM-051-095-01-01 Linear DC Actuator is a high speed, high acceleration/deceleration, non-cogging, high resolution, high force-to-size electric cylinder. It features high repeatability, 0.000049 in. (1.25 ?m) resolution, a continuous force of 33.9 N (7.6 lb.), a peak force of 107.2 N (24.1 lb.), and an integral thermistor to provide data to operate at peak efficiency for the highest possible throughput.

 

This compact, patented Linear Voice Coil Actuator is 2 in. (50.8 mm) in diameter, has a 1 in. (25.4 mm) stroke, and the housing length is 3.75 in. (95.3 mm) long. Each end of the housing features threaded mounting holes on a 1 in. (25.4 mm) bolt circle for universal mounting.

 

A linear encoder mounted internally provides the feedback for very high accuracy and repeatability when operating SDLM Linear Actuators as DC servo motors in a closed servo loop.  The non-rotating shaft has internal threaded holes for direct, zero backlash connections to the load.  Additionally, the shaft is supported at both ends by long life linear bearings and can tolerate side loads up to 24.0 N (5.4 lb.). These clean, quiet linear actuators have a HOME sensor and are ideal for medical, assembly, work holding and clamping, sorting, laser machining and drilling, packaging, sampling, scanning, laser beam steering, and filtering applications.  A complete Plug-and-Play servo controller is also available.
