Landa, North America’s largest manufacturer of industrial pressure washers, has introduced its first-ever hot water pressure that delivers cleaning power of up to 5000 PSI. The PGHW5-50524E is the fifth model of Landa’s popular line of gasoline-powered hot water pressure washers used extensively for on-site cleaning. As with the other four models, the PGHW5-50524E heats the water using diesel or fuel oil. However, it packs unprecedented cleaning power of up to 5000 PSI (pounds per square inch) of pressure at a flow rate of 5 GPM (gallons per minute). This rugged high-pressure cleaning machine features an extra-large heating coil made of Schedule 160 steel pipe in order to produce hot water at nearly 190°F and at 5000 PSI. It is powered by a water-cooled 27 HP Kawasaki gasoline engine with electric start and drives a heavy-duty, triplex, oil-bath LH 5050 Landa pump with 7-year warranty. As with the other models in this series of pressure washers, the PGHW5-50524E is totally self-contained (no electricity is needed) and is capable of drawing water from a tank in the field and cleaning for hours without interruption. The skid frame is made of 1-1/2 inch steel and has forklift guides for convenience in transporting. Other features include:
- The engine and pump are mounted on a vibration-isolated power platform that provides fatigue resistance for the skid frame;
- 2000W generator with an extra 110V electrical outlet;
- Stainless steel coil wrap and protective front cover;
- Detergent injection system that can be applied under high pressure;
- 50 ft. of double wire-braid hose rated for up to 6000 PSI and features a 24-inch safety hose guard for burst protection;
- Tri-lingual operating instructions in English, Spanish and French; and
- And many extras, such as steam combination, adjustable thermostat, voltmeter, hour meter, keyed ignition, marine-style battery box, and two 10-gallon fuel tanks.
Landa, which was founded in 1969, was the first manufacturer to certify its entire product line to the rigid UL safety standards and now has a line of nearly 300 hot and cold water pressure washers, along with parts washers, detergents and accessories.
