Liquid and air & gas flow transmitters from Orange Research are designed for applications involving high line pressures from 1,500 to 5,000 psig. With durable variable-area flow sensors, these models cover liquid flow rates from 0-30 GPM (0-115 LPM) and air & gas flow rates from 0-100 SCFM (0-850 SLPM). Orange Research transmitters incorporate solid-state, Hall-effect sensors to transform flow measurements into electrical outputs. Every transmitter is capable of providing voltage, current, frequency or RS 232 output. The user simply selects the output desired. Built-in temperature compensation ensures that the output of the transmitter does not drift. Each transmitter can be installed as a three- or four-wire connection. A variety of safety ratings apply, such as Nema-4X, IP65, IP66, UL and ATEX. The flow transmitters also are available with optional dials for local readout. Dials can include plastic or shatterproof lenses, liquid filling, red arc, multicolor arc, and dual scales. A variety of O-ring seals are available, including Viton, EPDM, fluorosilicone and Teflon. Flow transmitters are installed in-line and can be oriented horizontally or vertically. Orange Research offers a large selection of low-cost, rugged and reliable flowmeter designs with pressure bodies machined from solid blocks of metal. Built to last, these products are known for long life and reliable service under the harshest conditions. Orange Research is a manufacturer of industrial instrumentation, supplying differential pressure, flow and liquid level instruments in the form of gauges, switches and transmitters. Some of the many applications for these products are associated with filters, compressors, heat exchangers and other processing systems for a wide variety of industries including petroleum, chemicals, and semiconductors.
