DeltaTRAK announces the introduction of its new RF Logger with external probe. The FlashLink™ RF Logger with an external probe is designed for use with the FlashLink RF 2.4 GHz Wireless System to monitor product using its active RFID capability. The loggers can be used to monitor temperatures by either penetrating the product with the probe or by placing it between boxes or packages of product. “Our objective with all our products is to consistently increase functionality where possible in order to provide our customers with the flexibility they need to protect their products,” said Frederick Wu, president and CEO of DeltaTRAK. “External probes will allow users to wirelessly monitor product and ambient temperatures giving them more visibility into their products and processes.” The new logger will monitor and track temperature history information utilizing both an internal sensor when the probe is not in use and the external probe sensor. The logger’s internal temperature range is -40° F to 185° F (-40° C to 85° C). The probe’s temperature range is -40 F to 302 F (-40 C to 150 C). The new logger has back-up temperature logging functionality that ensures continuous monitoring even during communications interruption. Additionally, the units feature an IP67 waterproof casing and an omni-directional antenna integrated onto the PCB. Used with the FlashLink RF Wireless System the loggers are user configurable for time intervals, security and alerts.
