Hi Temp Polyimide Tape-Free Sample

July 21, 2011
Desco’s Wescorp brand ESD Hi Temp Polyimide Tape is a low-charging tape that can be exposed to high temperature applications such as wave soldering.  The polyimide film is 2.4 mils thick.  It will not leave a residue when removed.  The tape generates less than 50 volts (at 73º, 45% RH average) when unwound from the roll, making it safe to use around most ESD sensitive components.  Adhesive surface resistance is 10E4 – 10E8 ohms.  Temperature resistant to 572º F / 300º C for 10 seconds max.  The tape is lead-free and RoHS compliant.  Four widths are available: ¼”, ½”, ¾” and 1”.  All are on 3” cores.
