Floor-mounted HVLS Fans

Jan. 9, 2013
Rite-Hite’s industry leading high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fan technology will now be available in a floor-mounted configuration. Recently, the company introduced the Renegade series of HVLS fans, which are specifically designed for improving air circulation in areas with overhead obstructions or limited ceiling access. Like Rite-Hite’s popular ceiling-mounted Revolution and Revolution SP fans, Renegade fans are designed to help keep people cool in industrial facilities and warehouses, which can lead to increased productivity while reducing the risk of heat stress and accidents caused by damp floors.

Unlike ceiling-mounted HVLS fans, they are portable and can be moved when plant configurations change. Renegade fans are also adjustable from 10- to 15 feet in height and are shipped preassembled and prewired, so customers can easily self-install them.  Rite-Hite Renegade fans are an ideal option for workspaces that use multiple smaller pedestal fans, the AC motor consumes 640 watts of electricity, the same as (2) 30” ¼ HP pedestal fans, while generating 8 times the air volume.  The Renegade generates airflow of 130,000 CFM (cubic feet per minute) compared to 15,000 CFM for the two pedestal fans. Renegade fans are engineered with Rite-Hite’s industry leading Propell-Aire custom aluminum blade design. A single Renegade unit circulates a large volume of air up to 50 feet from the fan’s center in all directions, effectively covering up to 7,850 square feet.  Available in 8-, 12, - and 16-foot diameters, the Renegade’s design includes easy-to-use controls that allow users to adjust fan speed or operate the unit in reverse. An optional SureStop Safety Barrier protects against accidental contact.
