The L54110 LoRaWAN-Enabled Smart Sensor from H2O Degree enables tighter thermostat control.

The L54110 LoRaWAN-Enabled Smart Sensor is a temperature/humidity sensor that adds functionality to existing networks comprising H20 Degree battery-powered meters, sensors, and controllers. Their LoRaWAN-equipped devices use LoRaWAN Class A secure wireless 915 MHz technology. This long-range, open-protocol network facilitates line-of-sight, bi-directional communications over six miles.

The entire LoRaWAN network is connected to the H20 Degree Cloud Server via an LT1005 Ethernet Gateway or LIT2010 cellular modem. The Smart Metering wireless data acquisition system and PC-based software provide users with reporting and alerts to react quickly.

Lowering the cost of submetering installation is the reduced need for repeaters. The device has an operating temperature range of -4 to 122°F (-20 to 50°C) and relative humidity of up to 90%.
