Minmax Power unveils the MKWI50 Series of high power-density dc-dc converters offering a full 50 Watts of output power in an encapsulated, shielded metal 2" x 1" industry standard footprint. Typical applications for these converters are battery operated equipment, instrumentation, distributed power architectures in communication or industrial electronics, and other space critical applications.
All models provide ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range and five precisely regulated output voltages. An advanced circuit topology achieves high efficiency up to 92% and allows an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. Additional features include remote on/off, 1500VDC I/O-isolation voltage, internal EMI-filter, trimmable output voltage, input under-voltage lockout, as well as overload and over-temperature protection. The MKWI50 Series models are approved to worldwide UL/EN60950-1 safety standards.
