For use in NEC Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D, and Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations in conjunction with types X and Z purged enclosures, these units are used where hazardous gases are or may be present, and are also suitable for corrosive environments.
