With PSENopt II, a type 3 light grid, it's no longer necessary to switch to type 4 when PL d for hand and finger protection is required. The level that precisely matches the safety requirement can now be implemented with these light grids, providing savings as over-dimensioning is not necessary.
The high shock resistance makes this well-suited for rugged industrial environments, as well as for manual workplaces, the infeed/discharge of material, and material handling in robot applications. The fixture operates with continuous single beams and eliminates dead zones so the barrier can move closer to the application.
