Transor Filter will feature the latest filtration systems at IMTS 2016, September 12-17 in the Gear Grinding Pavilion, Booth N-7440 at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. They have been an exhibitor at every IMTS since 1978. Featured will be Transor’s new V-SERIES that combines the convenience of Transor’s centralized unit with the expandability of the smaller, modular models. Designed specifically for growing businesses, the heart of the system is a filter module that consists of three filter vessels, filter pump and required plumbing. Each filter module supports three machine tools. When needing to expand, simply add another filter module and pumps to accommodate up to three additional machines. The unit’s internal plumbing is already in place so connecting to the additional machine tools is simple. A V-9 model with three filter modules can deliver One Micron Filtration (OMF) oil to nine machine tools. Each filter module handles up to three machine tools. A V-Series base unit can be initially configured to accommodate future growth. For example, a unit designed for a total of seven filter modules can start with three modules and nine machines. Then, with each additional filter module, three additional machine tools can be brought on line for up to 21 machines. As with all Transor Filters, the V-Series provides automated back flushing and is virtually maintenance free. Available options include a chiller that can deliver temperature control to +/- 0.1º centigrade. Temperature control delivers consistent thermal stability to your machining operation. Automated sludge handling provides total system automation with fast, easy cleaning of the unit without any machine downtime. The modular expandability of the V-Series is the newest way for a growing business to experience all the benefits that One Micron Filtration delivers. In addition, a new concept filter will debut at IMTS. This unit is specifically designed to meet the need of those grinding HSS or other heavy stock removal applications such as gear grinding. The new filter design will eliminate the need for a magnetic pre-filter.Booth N-7440
