EASYZON L Chlorine Dioxide System for Water Disinfection
You don't always need dosing pumps. The EASYZON L chlorine dioxide system deploys a reactor under vacuum conditions to mix chemicals, reducing maintenance and the risk of outages and chemical leaks.
Consisting of a reactor mounted in a protective cabinet, the EASYZON L deploys acid-chlorite with commercially available chemicals such as 9% hydrochloric acid and 7.5% sodium chlorite. The system takes the chemicals from 2 storage tanks and mixes them in the correct ratio in the reaction tank to form chlorine dioxide. This reaction takes around 10 to 15 minutes.
After the chlorine dioxide has been diluted with water, the system feeds the resulting 0.05 to 0.15% aqueous chlorine dioxide solution into a product tank, fed into the process by a dosing pump.
The system generates a vacuum to draw in the hydrochloric acid and sodium chlorite using a Venturi ejector to enable precise mixing and reduce complexity.
EASYZON L provides a maximum production capacity of 40 g/h (27 L) of chlorine dioxide solution.
The chlorine dioxide system is ideally suited to disinfect drinking water in small waterworks, hospitals, hotels, and beverage industry applications.
Despite its low concentration, the solution is effective against many microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. High stability over a wide pH range from 5 to 11 ensures reliability in various applications. Chlorine dioxide also forms fewer byproducts during the disinfection process than chlorine, leaving no unpleasant odors or tastes.
