Flexley Tug T702 autonomous mobile robot (AMR) integrates AI-based Visual SLAM navigation technology and ABB's AMR Studio software to make it easy for first-time robot users to program and operate entire fleets of mobile robots without complication.
Combining AI and 3D vision, Visual SLAM technology lets AMRs make the right decisions, differentiating between fixed and mobile objects in the facility. Using Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (Visual SLAM), the robots can create a map of the facility to independently complete tasks. Maps are constantly updated and shared across the fleet, offering scalability without interrupting operations.
ABB's AMR Studio software (AMR Studio) lets inexperienced users create and configure AMR routes and jobs, with no programming knowledge needed. It streamlines the process of setting up an entire AMR fleet from start to finish, guiding users through the necessary steps, from environment mapping to mission generation and system configuration.
Once the fleet is up and running, AMR Studio Fleet Manager software puts users in full control of the shop floor. Order assignment uses algorithms to ensure that orders are distributed efficiently, while real-time visualization and data monitoring provide full traceability.
Features:
- +/- 5 mm positioning accuracy
- Differentiates between fixed navigation references that should be added to the map and objects such as people or vehicles that move or change position
- Reduces commissioning time
- Provides a reliable mapping image without making changes to the infrastructure
- Modifications to the route can
- Easily make modifications to the route
- Changes in the environment are automatically updated on the fleet map
- Real-time visualization and monitoring of the AMR fleet to optimize its performance
