Inductoheat Inc. reports it recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification, covering its manufacturing processes for induction-heating coils, power supplies and ancillary equipment.
Bureau Veritas North America, Inc., conducted the audit. Michigan-based Inductoheat is supplies induction heat-treating and forge-heating equipment.
“Maintaining ISO Certification is a quality standard for our organization. ISO certification affirms the high-level business competency Inductoheat Inc. demonstrates, from the quality of products to our operational discipline,” stated Inductoheat president Douglas Brown.
Specifically, Inductoheat said the standard certifies that it successfully implemented a quality management system that adheres to the worldwide standard for design and manufacture of equipment for the induction heating of metals. The company added that the achievement confirms its “commitment to meeting and exceeding customer, regulatory and quality standards with regards to its product lines.”
