The PowerStop industrial shock absorber family has already made a name for itself on the market thanks to its high energy absorption even in small installation spaces. It has now been taken to the next level by the addition of an extensive range of products and optimizations called PowerStop 2.0.
The series is available in four variants:
- Mini Energy: features the small M4 to M6 installation sizes
- Standard Energy: cost-efficient option
- High Energy: features the highest energy absorption (in terms of installation space)
- Adjustable Energy: comes with a High Energy adjustable damper that covers the full velocity range from 0.1 to 5 m/s. A wide range of impact velocities can be easily and variably adjusted to ensure optimal dampening for different amounts of mass or energy.
The Standard and High Energy series has been given extensive updates, with the range of thread sizes being expanded considerably. The Adjustable Energy series, on the other hand, is an entirely new range of products.
Both series (High Energy and Adjustable Energy) give you a choice between a long stroke and normal stroke version when you want either powerful and short braking or a smoother damping process with slightly less lag. Additionally, the Adjustable Energy series gives you the option of adjusting the shock absorber so that the entire stroke can be used to maximize damping smoothness. Compared to the existing series, the degrees of hardness have remained the same. However, the degree of hardness W (soft) has been significantly increased from the previous impact velocity of 1.8 to 4 m/s up to an impact velocity of 3 to 5 m/s.
The entire PowerStop family includes a housing and a piston rod made of high-grade stainless steel. This ensures extremely high corrosion protection. Foreign particles cannot adhere to the housing and cleaning is very easy.
